Allow us to make a brief presentation of this Restaurant, to explain better some aspects relevant to its characteristics.

The "Casa dos Pinheiros" was born out of a total remodelling of the old Restaurant casadospinheiros, located on the road which connects Almancil to Vale do Lobo.
The project was born out of a concept of a new night-time restaurant, which included the total transformation of the bar area and reconstruction of the restaurant space, without any increase to the existing space. 

The inspiration of its decoration is due to the location of the premises, in the Algarve, close to the coast and to its gastronimic speciality,  fish and shellfish. 

The colour scheme reflects the tonalities of the blues and greens of the sea, contrasting with the corals, the shells and all the characteristic flora and fauna of our maritime coast, with the crystalline blue of the waters shining under the sun and the moon. It is precisely the lighting which plays an important part in the final effect, emphasising the play of colour and creating an ambience of modernity and marine charm which the visitor seeks.

The almost minimalist simplicity of architecture free of ornamentation - with recourse however to details which do not pass unnoticed and which stand out in precise contrast to its apparent simplicity - brings another dimension to a formerly traditional and classical space.

A personalised and thematic ambience with both Portuguese and international dishes, influenced by its proximity to the Algarvian coast, completes the touch of originality that the restaurant casadospinheiros has acquired at the hands of the Architects, Jenny Marcos and Armando Reis.
